Blaxton Computing produces web sites and software for pleasure and business, being involved in the development of various web sites and software application since 2003 until the present day. Most web sites and software being developed on a case by case basis as a need arises.
Web sites can be straightforward static affairs or can be more complex database driven sites using SQL Server, Microsoft Access and SSL with user login control.
Software is designed around a need or after a particular request, an example of this was Blaxton Volume Calculator
which was created to make the "dipping" of tanks containing various liquids much easier when calculating the contained
volume of liquid.
Another example was Blaxton Video Capture which was an application used to capture video images to be used in aligning steel rods in a rolling process. It was also used to capture video from a process to demonstrate the reliability of that process, the video capture was controlled by an external control via a computer´s serial port.
When a need has arisen a solution has been created to meet that need and Blaxton Computing continues in the same way, filling a gap as and when required. The solution could be in the form of bespoke software or web site depending on each individual requirement.
Matthew P. Chapman fulfills the web sites and software requirements for Blaxton Computing and has done so since 2003.
